Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Knowledge is based on Experience, everything else is just information.

You must be sitting on a stockpile of killer Bear Lysergic because 1966 is so raw and reminiscent of the gluten free movement abound today. This unit sounds like a garage band searching for their collective voice while creating a sound emulating the Rolling Stones.

1968 - 1969 however is a different story.

Having little to no experience with this band before December 1970 when i was gifted two reel to reel tapes for Xmas, Live Dead and American Beauty, i'd consider any and all GD live concert experience's similar to a documentary film.

That being said, it's all about personal taste and the experience of being at any given performance heightening everyone's sensory perception.

If that's the case Kochman, your knowledge is limited to 10/9/94 and 6/24/95.

Why pretend otherwise?
